I have used this software lots of times before.
iMovie saves your project automatically

Does not have as much special effects final cut

I do not have this software at home.
I have not use final cut as much as iMovie Final cut does not save automatically
It is more complicated than iMovie
From looking at the good and bad points of both editing software, I have decided to use iMovie.
